About Nakai-Nam Theun National Biodiversity Conservation Area
Situated on the border of Vietnam, Nakai-Nam Theun actually features a number of different habitats, from evergreen forest to cloud forests, riverine forest to an everwet forest. Covering an area 3,710 square kilometres in size, the park features at least none different species of primates, including the pygmy loris, douc langur, Francois' langur, and the white-cheeked gibbon.

The main road to access this park is through Route 8B. The Nakai Plateau can be accessed from Thakek via Route 12 and then Route 8B to the Nakai District Town and onward to the Nakai Plateau.
