It’s known for its tremendous waterfalls and tranquil riverside setting. We only planned one night here, but managed to squeeze in a lot during the short stay. The highlight of our time involved walking through neighboring villages, coffee plantations, and riverside farms. We hired a guide for a half day trek assuming he’d be able to take us on some less traveled trails and he did not disappoint.
Approximately 10 metres (33 feet) high, the
Tad Lo waterfalls are beautifully situated against a forested backdrop in the north-western edge of the Bolaven Plateau. At the base of the falls, numerous large boulders make for great spots to lie down and relax in the sun.
