Fantastic pilgrimage site - very holy and when you climb the stairs to the top of the statue you have the most amazing view of Beirut - especially on a sunny day! Ask me for pics :) Has a tourist shop where you can buy plenty of items, plenty of parking space and it's just stunning. If you visit Beirut, GO THERE! :)

It is an important Lebanese Pilgrimage site high above Jounieh.
It attracts both pilgrims and tourists who want to enjoy views of Jounieh. The main site is a huge 15-ton bronze statue of St Mary with her arm outstretched.
