First of all Libya was a great surprise. People are very friendly and open to tourists (they're not really used to tourists). When they approach you, they are genually interested in you. They even want to give you their phonenumbers, so you can always call for help, and they always want to help you in anything. (when working and living there apparently it's hard to really become part of the community)

One of the places I visited was Sabratha (a similar site is Leptis Magnus, or Lebda). It's an amazing well preserved Roman city. The mozaic floor are still there, marble plating on roads and walls. You can really imagine what it must have been like living there.
