About Higher Castle Museum
Located in a 14th century castle tower, the Higher Castle Museum is small, and contains some exhibits of medieval weaponry as well as some dioramas showing the development of the castle and surrounding area over the centuries. There is also additional information and exhibits (such as maps) showing the castle and city.
The best part about this attraction though is the view. The castle is located on a 48 meter high hill, and you can climb 80 steps to the tower roof and get an outstanding view of the Old Town of Vilnius.

The museum itself is interesting but not the real reason to come here. By climbing on top of the tower you get to enjoy a great surround view of the old town and beyond. Definitely recommendable!

An icon of the city, gives a charming view from the top. Good to take a view of the old town and mark points for visiting :-)
