The campsite at Livingstonia Beach Hotel is calles Steps. Its a beautiful beach. Unfortunately it is also regularly visited by Overland-busses. Apart from that fact, the staff is very friendly. They can help you with firewood and tell you where you can buy fresh fish.
If you want to use the restaurant of the hotel, make sure you dress properly.

We ate at the restaurant for lunch, which was an extremely pleasant experience. The food was average, but the view and service was excellent. We were only at Lake Malawi for 2 days, but I'll certainly remember the whole experience for a long time to come.
