Genting, the city of all-night bright lights! A weekend place, if you want to do stuff, not sit still and chill. Thousands of people from all over the world descend on it by Friday night, so book your rooms in advance. It's a hilltop resort and a lovely drive up the hills from Kuala Lumpur. You can play table games or slot machines at the casino and try all sorts of e-games until you drop. There are lots of restaurants and a cosy 'Coffee Bean Tea Leaf' cafe. And if you want to shop for souvenirs, take the cable car to Awana and splurge away.

It may seem like plenty to do in Genting. Casinos, amusement park, shopping etc. But none of those really interest me. Genting is just a tourist resort which offers zero cultural interest and sight-seeing. Had trouble spending 24 hours here.

I love their outdoor and indoor theme parks! Also, you can shop at retail outlet stores like MNG and Giordano.

Try riding the Space Shot and Flying Coaster.

This place is awesome. Like most amusement parks in one place. Casinos too. Quite run down though...
