Sarawak Cultural Village is like a natural living museum in the truest sense. Its displays many kind of living color and also the cultures of the six major groups of people in Sarawak. Traditional ethnic dwelling dot the 14 acres tucked at the foothills of the mythical Mount Santubong. We can take taxi or a group car to enjoy 35km trip from Kuching.
We could find the knowledge about how rice is prepared by hand, sago cakes baked in a traditional way. We also can try and take a stab at using the blowpipe, the most traditional of hunting weapons. Sway to the magical rythmes of the Ngajat, the traditional dance that epitomizes Sarawak culture.
There also recognized and uber hip Rain-forest World Music Festival (RWMF) happens every year.
