The Cameron Highlands are wellknown for they're top quality tea. You can visit several tea plantations and the factory. If you're interested you can even visit some strawberry farms.

There are many strawberry farms that allow you to pick strawberries on your own and your bill is total weight in agreement with the strawberries that you have chosen. Beekeeping

Honey Bee Farms in Cameron Highlands offers a learning experience about honey bees and a variety of products. Of course, the price of honey products are cheaper if you buy it here.

Flower Nurseries

Cameron Highlands is known as the largest fresh flower producer in Malaysia. There are many types of flowers that are here, such as Dahlia, Geranium, Roses, Fuchsia, Gladioli, and even flowers such as Chrysanthemum. You can get beautiful fresh flowers with a very reasonable price here.

Vegetable Agriculture

If you've spare time to go to Cameron Highlands, you can see vegetables agriculture are located almost everywhere. The farm is primarily intended for tourists, but if you want to visit the largest farms, you can go to Tringkap or Kuala Terja which produce vegetables for domestic demands.

Getting there:
There's a bus going straight from the busstation in KL to Tanah Rata. Also you can use the highway to reach Cameron Highland. Estimate hour to Cameron Highlands from:

  1. Kuala Lumpur - about 3.5 hours
  2. Penang - about 3.5 hours
  3. Johor Baru - about 7.5 hours 
  4. Singapore - about 8 hours.

just update the guide above. I've been here sometime ago,and its so good.the tea farm scene was beautiful, all green! also don't forget to bring also your sweater, its cold especially at morning. anyway, the famous thing about cameron highlands is its vegetables, fruits and flowers. unique!

Great hiking their, stayed in the fathers hostel, great spot and well worh a look, also take taxi not bus to bring you up mountain, its only a few dollers more and its a good hours drive on one hell of a bendy road

It's brilliant. If you stay at oncle bob's I think the name was, you can book a tour there. The guy is pure quality and can tell you heaps about nature, the tea proces etc. You will have gorgious views!
