Bukit Bintang is the centre of KL. It is hip, becoming a cafe society for young and old. Shopping galore. Strangely enough Bukit Bintang is connected to another shopping centre at the back of it. Just outside Bukit Bintang you have to try the best 'Chicken Rice' in the whole of KL. It is well known. To get there you need to walk out of the main entrance facing the main road the restaurant is on your left. You can't miss it. I always make it a point to have my chicken rice there and it will cost you only about £3 ($6). It may be a big portion but order another set and that should do the trick - as I did. Take advantage of the exchange rate - it is £1 to approximately M$7 (whoopy!). They have a Marks Spencer store there but do not bother buying from there as that is very expensive - all their stuff is imported from the UK hence the price hike. Remember it is humid and hot in Malaysia so if you can stay in doors if you cannot handle the humidity. Take advantage of the jewellery shops in Bukit Bintang - they are of high quality and cheaper than Europe. Of course it is cheaper to get jewellery in somewhere else but have a look anyway. Also remember alot of the shops in Bukit Bintang sell pirated goods like movies, belts and handbags. Enjoy.

This place also known as golden triangle in kuala lumpur. The night life here are very laid back. Most people will be around here for a chinese food, dinner and coffee with listening to a life band which play at the side walk. of BB Plaza. There are a pub and bistro, restaurant and pub but the place are not as noisy as other club at Jalan P.Ramlee, Jalan Penang or Jalan Sultan Ismail. Most people will sit at the coffee house at the side walk of bukit bintang and have coffee after dinner, listening to the life band music, or watching a cartoonist with their drawing and such. This place also have many international brand such as LV, Coach, Kelvin Clain and many more. This is one of the " Must Visit Place" of Kuala Lumpur.

The city shuts down at night, leaving very little to do but sleep. Alcohol (due to it being in a Muslim country) is hard to find and/or expensive. During the day I loved going up the KL Tower and Patronas Towers. I'm glad I went, but have no reason to return. 2 days is more than enough...

In the heart of KL, it's the coolest place in the city! There's plenty of nice places to drink a cool coconut, to eat some meat in a stick with live music in the middle of the street and most of all, to lose your head in shopping malls!
