Malaka is a historic city in malaysia , every thing about this city is nice, there is a historic church and a historic palace and a statue of the first chines who came to malaysia.
the market is full of chines antique shops and a nice place for those who like antiques. city has kept on its historic way and houses are very old . and streets are full of Rishkas(a way of accommodation in Asia). the port in Malaka is very famous ( i haven't been there ). and there is a safari and water park near malaka which is very big and famouse with the name of afamosa. overal i think oneday from morning till night is enough to see whole melaka and oneday for afamosa .

The story goes more or less like this: Melaka was the second major port run by the Portuguese, it supplanted the previous one, in the same way it ended up being supplanted and surpassed by Singapore.
The city has a lot of history: the Portuguese and the Dutch have been there and left traces of their presence, but the city is most important as the capital of the Pranakan--or at least that's what a famous Pranakan writer once told me.

Oh, my Gosh this place is so lovely. It still has some Colonial structures from when the Portugal invaded. Also, the Mosques are exquisite.
