Malaysia's hidden secret - The Whispering Hall (or Balai Bisik) is found only in Kuala Muda Kedah, nestled at the edge of the village by the river's mouth. Every morning, local "towkays" bid for freshly caught fish with whispers that waft through the open auction hall overlooking the sea. If you're lucky, you'll catch the "stingray" towkay in action! (Kuala Muda Kedah was devastated by the Indian Ocean Tsunami in 2004.)
