The fish market in Mopti is a bustling place which is, strangely enough, full of fish! Fresh fish, dried fish, salted fish, you name it, if it's fishy it's here! There are also sections of the markets you can watch traditional boat building and people don't seem to mind too much if you take photos.

The fish market is a fascinating, if smelly, place to wander around for an hour or two and it's possible to take some wonderfully interesting photos without people getting too upset.
