Feb 6, 2009 It took us about an hour to get to La Bufadora from Ensenada (because we got lost driving there). It's a natural marine blow hole. It was not really a blow hole like the Halona Blow Hole in Oahu, it's more like an 80 ft. narrow gorge and when the water crashes against the wall it shoots the water up. It's still a good place to vist for a half day excursion. There's plenty of restaurants for dining and shops for shopping. I actually preferred La Bufadora over Ensenada. Oct 15, 2008 Simply put...gorgeous. It is definitely a little scary getting there (Mexico has mountanous terrain). It was worth it to see the beautiful water and this blowhole (which is bufadora in espanol). However, be prepared to be accosted by vendors...they want your money!! Jun 29, 2008 I think the best thing about this place was that you can shop on the way up to the blowhole (Bufadora in Spanish). Make sure you haggle guilt free- they get a lot of traffic through those stalls and it won't hurt for them not to rip you off!! Jul 29, 2011 increible la bufadora y el fenomeno que se forma.. pero esalgo para ver solo una vez... sin embargo se como muy bien. la especialida son las almejas gratinadas. si van a ensenada es una visita obligatoria
