Isla Holbox is actually about 2 hours north of Cancun and is a small island of the tip of the yucatan peninsula. It is an amazing place to go and have a very chill holiday. The biggest draw is swimming with whale sharks May-August! Highly recommend it, one of my Top 10 travel experiences.
