If visiting in the summer, this is the best place to go after walking outside in the extreme heat and humidity. The underground cavern is a natural air conditioner and the ice cold water is a welcome refreshment. The vendors surrounding the cenote are great as well, especially those selling freshly cut open coconut juice.

Cenote Dzitnup is a cool underground swimming hole about 7km outside of Valladolid.
