I lived on Midway 1973-1974 and loved every minute. It is one of the very last places on earth quite like it. I still dream about Midway after all these years and have wanted to return since the day I left. It is a paradise. Beck Sams at BeckSams@msn.com 17 Aug 2009

The water is so clear you can see for miles. Its that gorgeous aqua blue color. The sand is a fine white coral. One down side the white sand is highly reflective of the sun and after just walking down to the water 5-10mins at most I was the most sunburned I have been in my life. It was still beautiful.
