I go here almost every year. Every year I fight with my brother or sister about walking or taking the bus. In the end, we walk (stagger) up the tons of stairs, but the vista and the old part of town are completely worth it. I have been on a couple of trips inside the palace to see the grandeur. The trips could be longer, but I thought it was worth it just to see the paintings and the decor and read about the famous people who have visitied.

Located on hill with beautiful views of Monaco. The palace itself is an interesting and pretty building. Outside there is a changing of the guard at 11.55am and they wear different uniforms in winter and summer. Next time I want to do a tour of the inside of the palace.

the view from up there is awesome, you can see all the boats in the harbour, the city and the sea, and additionally it is a nice walk, but be aware to wear proper clothes (shorts and shirts - no bathing suits, even if it is freaking hot)

It does not look good at all for a Palace and the richest country in the world but when you are up the top you get the best views of Monaco and the harbour with their million dollar yachts

Nice palace, by the sea. When I visited Monaco, I took a tour through the Palace. The tour was very interesting, about the history of the Grimaldi family.
