About Khorgo Volcano
Khorgo, an extinct basalt-covered volcano within Lake Tsagaan National Park, was thought to have been responsible for creating the lake. It features interesting geographical formations - basalt gers, which are essentially bubbles of solidified lava. Visit the area with yak herders.
