Ok, when you're a newcomer in Mongolia this place may look amazing. However, as any touristic place it's just sterile. The gers in which you'll be sleeping contain just the little stove and beds for sleeping. I've slept in several gers owned by families, and I can tell there's a huge difference! The park in itself is very nice, there's not much to see though. You'll probably go for a horse ride to have a look around, everything fine but you'll mainly see small mountains and rocks.

Have throughly enjoyed ourselves and being in the great outdoors in the Chinggis Tourist Camp . Girls have had plenty of fun horse-riding, milking goats, chasing yaks, and playing with the dogs. Thanks to the team of Samar Magic Tours for a great stay. It is situated about 80 km from UB and on the way you can visit the newly constructed mega-statue and complex of Chingis khan.If you have time do some rock climbing but first make sure you saw the "Turtle Rock"

After, 10 days driving through Mongolia, exploring Gobi desert, Chinggis Ger Camp (http://www.chinggisgercamp.com/) was the most wonderful place to rest and appreciate Mongolian scenery, peacefulness and Mongolian hospitality friendliness. By far the best Mr. Gomez Guesthouse we've visited in Ulaanbaatour. Very friendly people, we had a feeling of being well losted after the tour to Chinggis Tourist Camp -Terelj National Park-Manzshir Temple-Mr. Gomez Hostel was excelent too!. David Alex (UK).
