Feb 8, 2010 Hassan II Mosgue is outstanding. It was built right next to the sea so when you standing on the square that surrounds Mosgue you can feel this nice breeze. Best impressions are in the evening or at night. Mosque is open for non- muslims (but you have to cover your legs and arms). I was there as a little girl and I couldn't get inside because it was forbidden for girls/women. I am no sure but maybe people can get inside with a tour guide. Anyway both, from outside or inside - it's worth to see, definitely ! :) Jul 23, 2009 Designed by French architect Michel Pinseau, construction of the Hassan II Mosque began in July 1986 on land reclaimed (without compensation to the former residents) from a run-down area near the sea. The goal for completion of the mosque was King Hassan II's 60th birthday in 1989, but it ended up not being finished until August 30, 1993. Mar 24, 2009 Incomplete Mosque, must have seen for all tourists going to Marocco. All together with the Mausoleum of King Mohammed V
