It was built in the late 19th century as a harem's residence by Si Ahmed ben Musa. It has 300rooms. In the past caravans used to stop there for rest. You can see Moroccan architecture and
varied courtyards and gardens.
In Morocco all the houses look similar from outside, houses surrendered by walls but once you enter the courtyard you'll be bewildered by the gardens, the fountains, the carved ceilings and the tiled walls.
