A beaturifull garden designed by the expatriate French artist Jacques Majorelle in 1924, during the colonial period whenMorocco was a protectorate of France. Since 1980 the garden has been owned by Yves Saint-Laurent and Pierre Bergé. After Yves Saint Laurent died in 2008 his ashes were scattered in the Majorelle Garden.A nice place to spend a day wandering  among the palm trees and cactii.

mooie intense kleuren. Ooit opgekocht door Yves Saint Laurent , zowat de enigste groene zone in Marrakech. Buiten het centrum gelegen, maar zeker de moeite om de verplaatsing te maken!

Stunning place. We walked around for hours. Though it took about half an hour to find the entrance! definitely worth the visit.

lot's of Cacti and varied plant species in this beautiful little oasis/sanctuary. Lots of shade on a hot day.
