Being a same sex couple of the female variety in Marrakech was a rather scary experience.  We weren't with a tour so had to keep our wits about us.. We were trying to find the tannery and were led into quiter and quieter streets by a man who constantly assured us that his cousin owned the tannery.  We passed one man who said our 'guide' was genuine... then a minute later, we noticed the same man again, telling us the 'guide' was genuine... we freaked out and turned around to go back to the Medina.  Lucky for us we didn't keep following this man otherwise, well, we don't know what might have happened, but it really didn't feel right... so be careful girls!

Everything you heard about Morocco is true and everything you can buy you can find here. Always bargain. But even if you don't have any spare money to spend it is a great place to wander about.

Architecture, colors, bicycles, bootblack, traditional cloths mixed with modern outfit... It was great. Specially on the side roads :)
