In this 18th century house lives the Kumari. Kumari is the living goddess. The incarnation of the goddess is a young girl of the age of 4 to 5 years which belongs to a certain caste with a pure body and a horoscope that matches specific criteria. All her wishes are granted, but she only comes outside the house for some religious ceremonies. The Kumari can't hurt herself and blood means the end of her holiness. It speaks for itself that it isn't a blessing being "elected" for Kumari. You can only see the Kumari from a distance behind a window and it is expected to leave a big tip in the donation box. The current Kumari is called Preeti Sakya.
