Mar 13, 2010 Pasupatinath temple is a temple of Shiva in Kathmandu on the bank of river Bagmati. It is a sacred place, therefore there are lot of pilgrims coming here. You can find lots of holy-man, sadhus around, who are people with no any belongings, sometimes even naked, fully focusing on religious life. On the banks of the river there is usually the cremation of the dead bodies going on, just like in Varanasi at the bank of river Ganga. Staggering experience, but is a must. Related Links
