The beach here is clean and convenient. Especially if you are coming off of a cruise ship. Taking the water taxi from the pier to the downtown pier is the best way to get here. You can walk (a mile or two away) or take a taxi. You can rent a chaise lounge and an umbrella from one of the vendors along the beach. Shopping is just a short walk away, or it may even come to you. Little ladies selling their wears (souvenirs: bags, towels, shirts, etc.) all at very reasonable prices. You can dicker with them to get your special bargain. They will work with you.

Great place to go plane spotting. A very unique experience!
