The train station in Amsterdam, right in the center of the city. It has lockers for storage if you want to leave your bags and move around the city during the day. Trams and buses connect to the station very frequently. It is also walking distance away from most of the tourist sites.

Great location, walking distance from some sights and good connection with to public transport to other places like the Vondelpark and the museum area. The trainstation itself is not special and a bit confusing at times.

Centraal Station is the core of the city of Amsterdam. It's a crowded place at any hour of day or night. It's a "small" Amsterdam, the city with 3quarter of a million inhabitants of 78 different nationalities.
