Jordaan
About Jordaan
I love walking through Amsterdam, but I always end up in one of the little cafes along the canals for a drink or something. The little streets with its many restaurants and shops have become quite trendy in the last few years. It used to be the working class section of the city with street markets a couple of days a week.

Oct 8, 2008 The Jordaan in Amsterdam is a great piece of history that still overwhelms me with its vibrance and atmosphere. We would say in Holland " Later, (als ik groot ben) when I have grown to be an adult, then this is where I would like to be." The little streets the calmness of its inhbitants and luxury of reasonable traffic free-ness helps to inhale the atmosphere every visit to the fullest. Jan 25, 2010 The best memory I have is the scenic bike ride we took over the countryside. Went for a day trip and rented a bike from Mike's Bike's-got a map from him and explored all the little villages along the countryside. WONDERFUL!!! Would go back in a heart beat just for that bike ride. Not something to pass up!!!!!!! Nov 17, 2011 There's nothing better: Perfect place for enjoying of a red wine with nice friends!. The hidden oasis of peace within countless of narrow streets and little canals, great for strolling around courtyards, art studios, bars & cafes.
