Mar 5, 2009 There cannot be just 2 reviews of this place! It is absolutely beautiful. Yes, it's contrived and planned, but that's the point. This is landscaping at its finest, and the installations only last for 1 month, then the flowers start dying. If you are a lover of botanical gardens, this is a playground for you; and even not the biggest plant lover, the park is still a beautiful and colorful one to stroll through. Bring a picnic (buy it at Aldi in Leiden next to the bus stop to the gardens) and eat in the grass. Climb the windmill which overlooks fields of tulips. You could spend a whole day here just admiring the park, or just a couple hours if you think you've had floral overload. Aug 29, 2008 Located in Lisse, Keukenhof is a eighty acre garden devoted to spring flowering bulbs. It is worth a trip from anywhere. You will never see another park like it in your life. This is a place to see not only new and antique flower varieties but new ideas in garden design and installation. Jun 12, 2010 one of the nicest events in the Netherlands is Keukenhof. The main season is May-June. You will sea all kind of bulb flowers for which Holland is well known. You will be amased about all the different colours that bulbs can have. Jan 31, 2011 Famous Dutch park with flowers and blossoming as a theme. Best visited during mid-to-end-spring, when the flowers are at their best.
