One of The Hague's two main beaches, this is the less touristy of the two. The Beautiful North Sea in front of you, sitting at one of the cafes on the boardwalk, enjoying a coffee, chocomel, or fries. The nationally protected dunes at your back. Beautiful views from the top of the dunes, and one of the best pannekoekenhuis (pancake house) in the city.Good fish and chips too. I like the knoflook saus (garlic sauce) with my kibbeling. We loved taking the kids there when we live a few minutes away. Hope you like it too.

its alright, mostly old people but the beach is pretty nice, quite empty and calm. The shops seem kinda closed for most of the time but i guess im just there at odd time. There are a few places to eat and i think most of them are alright, i haven't really been to many yet. The dunes around the area are quite nice and there is this dome thing in one of them which is pretty cool. Apparently its by some artist. Overall Kijkduin is a pretty nice place.

it's smaller and more relaxed then mega scheveningen. The restaurants, and lunches are quite nice on the boulevard. If you are looking for nature, try the heading towards hoek van holland, for a walk or by bike. Great dunes to beat the city life. In the summer you find some beach houses towards scheveningen, that can pack a great party at night.
