Kijkduin is zowel met het openbaar vervoer als met de auto prima bereikbaar. In het openbaar vervoer kunt u de bussen 23, 24 en 26 nemen om in Kijkduin te komen. Bus 23 rijdt vanuit Duindorp via Voorburg en Rijswijk naar Kijkduin, bus 24 rijdt tussen station Mariahoeve en Kijkduin en bus 26 rijdt tussen station Voorburg en Kijkduin. Zelfs van buiten Den Haag kunt u Kijkduin met de bus bereiken. Bus 129b rijdt vanaf Rotterdam Centraal Station via Delft en Rijswijk naar Kijkduin. Met de auto kunt u Kijkduin het beste bereiken via Den Haag-Zuid (A4). Parkeren in Kijkduin is gratis.

One of The Hague's two main beaches, this is the less touristy of the two. The Beautiful North Sea in front of you, sitting at one of the cafes on the boardwalk, enjoying a coffee, chocomel, or fries. The nationally protected dunes at your back. Beautiful views from the top of the dunes, and one of the best pannekoekenhuis (pancake house) in the city.Good fish and chips too. I like the knoflook saus (garlic sauce) with my kibbeling. We loved taking the kids there when we live a few minutes away. Hope you like it too.

it's smaller and more relaxed then mega scheveningen. The restaurants, and lunches are quite nice on the boulevard. If you are looking for nature, try the heading towards hoek van holland, for a walk or by bike. Great dunes to beat the city life. In the summer you find some beach houses towards scheveningen, that can pack a great party at night.

Kijkduin is less busy than Scheveningen, there are lots of old people and not a lot of things to do. You can walk around in the dunes, but thats it. For me Kijkduin is a boring place...
