A scenic 1 hour train ride on this world-class mountain railway. The innovatively designed trains take you through kauri plantings and impressive engineering features up to the splendid new terminus, the Eyefull Tower. Colossal views out over Hauraki Gulf and Islands. Suitable for all ages and conditions. 3km North of Coromandel Town. Daily trains, except Christmas Day Anzac morn. TRAIN BOOKINGS are ADVISABLE . Train tickets available at the craft shop. Distinctive works by local potters and sculptors. Also, glass-blowers at work. See exceptional outdoor art works and ask to visit the new wildlife sanctuary. Ample safe parking and public facilities.
