Amazingly beautiful location, fantastic wines (lots grown on the Gimblett gravels, an old river bed that keeps the vines warmer and creates a perfect growing environment), one of our favorite wineries in all of NZ.  A special bonus is the excellent food at the attached restaurant Terroir.  The chef is inventive and the menu features many NZ specialties such as lamb.
