A wonderful relaxing public place located on the edge of the city´s lake, right at downtown Rotorua. It is a historical site to Maori people because of the several battles that have taken place there. Also worth a visit is the Rotorua Museum, which is located in the old Tudor-style spa bath house.

It is a very beautiful garden (even in winter when I visited). There is a rose garden, croquet lawn and bowling green. There is also the Rotorua Museum of Art and History and the Blue Baths swimming pool which I did not visit but where beautiful buildings.
