Beautiful cultural centre where you learn everything you ever wanted to know about Maori history, plus you get up close and personal with geyers, hot springs, and boiling mud pits. Definitely worth the price of admission.

At first I was disappointed to have to pay so much to see the geysers ($50NZ) - but the set up is brilliant, the show is ace, the multimedia displays are state-of-the-art and I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the park.

Rotorua, the smoking town, but not from pollution ! Amazing view of these smokes going out from the ground everywhere !

One of the more expensive places to see the thermal areas, but the cultural stuff does make it worthwhile.
