One of the sunniest places in New Zealand.  This town is near Picton where the ferry between islands arrives and is a perfect outpost for doing some wine tasting.  The vineyards in the area are diverse but many produce world class Sauvignon Blanc.

Blenheim is a town in Marlborough , in the north east of the South Island of New Zealand . The sheltered coastal bays of Marlborough supported a small Māori population possibly as early as the 12th century.

Nice town, considered the sunniest in NZ (they fight with Nelson for this title).  The wine tasting is divine. Get on a tour or rent a bike so you can taste to your hearts content.
