Genuine artists, artisans, craftspeople invite you into their studios. Sidewalk sales offer great deals on beautiful works of art...I bought a beautiful painting by Leslie Duggan.

Sadly very small and not that interesting...but luckily for free so it is quite a nice place to visit - if you get bored. But than again...I'm not very interested in art anyway.

Used to be awesome. Its gone now though. The Art Gallery is still up and is a fantastic place to visit, but it is in the red zone (off limits) as of july 2011.

perfect place for arties.... well it will be when it re-opens soon. the old part is best but possibly completely destroyed in earthquake
