There are so many ways to see the Glacier, but one of the best ways has got to be by helicopter ride. By helicopter you can look down over both Fox Glacier and Franz Josef Glacier. If you choose the right package, you can even land on the mountains, walk around on the fresh covered peaks and look across at some of the most incredible scenery you could ever imagine. i could not recommend this more, if you only do one thing in Franz Josef this should be it.
