This is an absolute 'must do' for bikers. First you can bike along the Maitai River in beautiful landscape with just little ups and downs. It's possible to go for a swim in the river or to BBQ. For mountain biking you can climb up the Tantragee Saddle, a steep climb. From top of the saddle you have a breathtaking view over the valley and a fast downhill ride back to Nelson.

i went there for a run, it was just awesome! on a sunny day you meet some bikers on the track and children playing in the river. you can follow the river for about 3km's and there a plenty places you can jump into it yourself. nice nature, very quiet, just relax and enjoy life!
