Sep 3, 2009 Try to be in Nelson on a Saturday morning for the Nelson Market. Otherwise there is plenty to do here (especially in summer). Nelson is the 'Centre of New Zealand'. You can climb a hill that is aptly named just that and view over the entire of Tasman Bay. Around the city and neighbouring district is the WearableArts and Classic Cars museum, Huglung's Glass Studio and Abel Tasman National Park. All very worth a visit! Nelson is the art and (often) sunshine capital of New Zealand. There are plenty of close-by walks to do and beaches to relax on. You'll love it! May 28, 2010 Very picturesque town with great surroundings. Worth staying couple of days. Nice people, empty beaches, Abel Tasman national park.... Dec 31, 2008 Next to the wonderful national park Abel Tasman...like the paradise!!!:D
