The Park is a hidden sanctuary of trees, bush and native trails in the middle of the busy resort town of Queenstown. The park also features a cafe, early Maori Hunting Village, a retail centre, a native garden trail which is ideal for strolling and an entertaining and educational conservation show held daily at 11am and 3pm Payment Accepted:

Mar 6, 2011 This was the place in NZ where I saw Kiwi birds. They put on a feeding at certain times of the day. I was surprised how big the kiwi birds were. They do the feeding in a dark room as the birds are nocturnal, so you can't take photos but it was still interesting. Outside the kiwi bird enclosures you are free to see kea and tuatara and other wildlife out in the open. Worth a couple of hours for a relaxed afternoon activity in Queenstown.
