I went here in '95 and found it very nice, a bit like Norway, just on the other side of the earth. The south west of New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places in world if you are into nature, trekking and roughing it. Wauw!!

Spijtig genoeg hadden we erg slecht weer toen we de Milford Sound bezochten. We hadden veel mist waardoor we de mooiste plek op aarde maar weinig hebben kunnen ontdekken

They say that Doubtful Sound is better, but Milford Sound is accessible by car, through Te Anau. Doubtful, only by boat.
