Underwater Caves
Niue has some excellent diving opportunities, although they are not quite as spectacular as other South Pacific countries since Cyclone Heta damaged much of the coral, and the marine life isn’t as rich.  The diving around Niue tends to be more for the scenery, although Snake Gully is a diving highlight.  Dozens of sea snakes tangle in the gully and pop to the surface to take a breather.  There are also puffer fish and crayfish. 

The highly visible coral around Niue are covered with caves and gullies, making for an impressive seascape.  The Dome and Ana Mahaga (Twin Caves) are two cavern systems that contain tunnels and caves to swim through.
