Had the opportunity to stand beside the Oseburg viking ship which dates back to 800s. The skeletons of two women were found with the ship in a mound on the Oseburg farm. The wood carvings were amazingly intricate with high levels of detail. Very well preserved.

This is a specal museum that i strongly recomend. it shows a great piece of the Norwegian history and kind of how tuff norwegians allways have been. no question why norwegians are called vikings

Great museum shows an old Viking Ship; a must see. Also see the ski jump while in Oslo.

Beauiful sights, and very interesting museums. Good food at the fish resteraunts.
