If you happen to be around Kongsberg, visit the Silver Mines in Saggrenda, which is on the outskirt of Kongsberg. You travel into the bowel of the hills through the miners' train and spend some time walking through the mine shafts learning about the living conditions and how the miners did it in the 1800's. An eye opener indeed!
