It is founded in medival times but the current structure and image is from the 18th century.
This is the goal of pilgrimage in Scandinavia and it houses one of the best boy choires in Norway. I was fortunate enough to hear the cristmas concert given by the choire and Arve Tellevsen the famous violinist, a few years back.
