The Trolltunga is situated about 1100 meters above sea level, hovering 700 metres above lake Ringedalsvatnet with a breathtaking view. Full day hike - 8-10 hours hike. Bring food and water. Possible to stay overnight at The Norwegian Trekking Association's (DNT) cabin Reinaskorsbu.

Payment Accepted:

From Bergen, Stavanger, Kristiansand or Oslo - go by bus to Odda in Hardanger. Stay overnight near Odda. Local morning bus to Tyssedal. Taxi (7 km) from Tyssedal to Skjeggedal. Hike to Trolltunga - 8-10 hours total time. about 900m ascent. Stunning view!

This is a really fascinating city.close by the port so if you travel with ship everything is close like 10 minute walking.the fishmarket is really interting and the wiev from the hill is magnificent.one of the best place in norway

Very beautiful place. I saw 3 salmons jumping like dolphins :) А lot оf small streams over the hills around fiord. Very beautiful color of water in the fiord. It's because the streams from glaciers.
