Follow the E70 from the towncentre. You will pass a church on the way, and you turn left, when you see a sign with the name Varden on it. It's about 15-20 minutes to walk from the towncentre

This area in Kristiansund is great for walking . It's a footpath in a very scenic and green landscape. It's fitting for most persons, and the path is twisting and turning many times, so you can choose how long you want your walk to be. You can walk( or jog) to the ocean, or you can go up to the lookoutsite called Varden. The path is also connected to a cemetery. It's very beautiful as far as cemeteries go, so it's worth a visit.
If you get tired, there are benches here and there along the route. Kringsjaa is also perfect for dogwalking.
