When you're driving on Road 15 from Lom towards Stryn - take the Road 258 that goes off to the left - it's signposted "Gamle Strynefjellsvegen".

This is the old road to Stryn from Lom. After they made the tunnel through the mountain which is of course much faster, this has become the old road. But it's definitely worth the detour. You pass through wild and rugged landscapes and see mountain tops, snow and a river that in places looks almost as wide as a lake. It's spectacular - don't miss it!
