Getting there:
Follow signs off the main road between Nizwa and Bahla, then simply head towards the old part of the town. Take care as the old town was not designed with 4x4s in mind.

Just taking the time to wander around the Old Town of Al Hamra takes you back in time. Mingle with the locals and discover museums and houses in all the alleys and backstreets within the old mudbrick buildings that are still residential homes. Wander around the date plantations and see the water flowing past in the falaj system within the oasis.
